Benjamin Towle
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the CoNI Lab (Computational Neuroimaging), Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre, School of Medicine, University of Nottingham, where I started in February 2025. I completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham in 2026 under the supervision of Ke (Adam) Zhou and Xin Chen, having previously completed an MA in Classics at St John’s College, University of Oxford, and an MSc in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) at the University of Nottingham. My research focuses on the application of machine learning (deep learning) to one-to-many problems in human-AI interactive systems. My publications have concentrated on NLP applications such as reply suggestion systems and text-based games, as well as the transferability of these techniques to interactive computer vision systems.
